About The Position

Join the culinary team at Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards, where fresh, seasonal cuisine meets one of Virginia’s most beautiful vineyard settings. As we prepare for our busy season, we’re seeking an experienced Line Cook who is ready to step into a key role on the line and contribute immediately to a high-performing kitchen team. This is not a beginner position. We are looking for someone who already understands the rhythm of service, can confidently manage a station, and takes pride in executing consistently at a high level.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional line experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Ability to confidently manage a station from prep through service
  • Strong knife skills and understanding of proper cooking techniques
  • Comfort working clean, organized, and efficiently under pressure
  • Availability for weekends and evenings (events often extend into night hours)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with farm-to-table, seasonal, or scratch kitchens preferred

Responsibilities

  • Run and maintain a designated station during service with consistency and attention to detail
  • Execute prep for both our Tasting Room menus and private/banquet events
  • Work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen while maintaining strong standards of quality and presentation
  • Support seasonal menu execution using fresh, local ingredients
  • Contribute to a professional, team-driven kitchen culture
