Job Summary: Responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and food safety standards. Meets all property and industry related health and safety guidelines to support the well-being of guests, team members, and the local community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous restaurant service experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with team members in a professional manner.
  • Understanding of food preparation methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous restaurant service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in pre-shift, and post-shift, meetings.
  • Prepare ingredients and prepare menu items according to quality standards.
  • Set-up and stock work station with necessary ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, and work area, including stations and equipment.
  • Handle food orders in a timely and organized manner.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen, and front of house, team members.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, and maintains a professional appearance.
  • Clean and close down equipment or station at the end of service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
