About The Position

As a Line Cook at Ferndale Project, you will play a crucial role in our scratch kitchen, where we take pride in crafting delicious, high-quality dishes that complement our diverse selection of craft beers. The ideal candidate should have a strong culinary background, be detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a high-volume and/or scratch-made kitchen preferred

Responsibilities

  • Cooking items on the line by grilling, frying, chopping, and sauteing
  • Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies for service
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safe food-handling procedures
  • Preparing food for service, including cutting, chopping, and mixing ingredients
  • Prepare pizza dough according to established recipes and procedures
  • Working with staff to ensure that orders are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Ensures proper storage and rotation of inventory
