About The Position

Pioneer Crossing Casino Dayton is seeking high energy, fast paced Kitchen Staff to join their operations. The primary responsibility of the kitchen staff is to produce the highest quality food with precision and accuracy, while continually observing and implementing proper quality-assurance and food-safety procedures. The casino offers both part-time and full-time opportunities for Line Cooks, with competitive starting pay based on experience and availability, performance-based advancement, and free meals while working.

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English language – both written and oral
• Basic mathematical skills in order to calculate portion sizes, measurements, and recipes
• Ability to work in a team environment or independently
• Ability to work in high pressure, fast paced environment
• Must be able to multitask
• Ability to maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to apply superior sanitation standards
• Must have knowledge of food storage requirements, both hot and cold
• Able to perform in a fast-paced, loud, crowded environment
• Must be able to stand with full range of mobility for extended periods of time
• Reaching, bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate within confined spaces and perform acts of repetitive motion
