Meadia Heights Golf Club is located two miles south from the city center of historic Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is managed by Bobby Jones Links. The club offers a challenging private 18-hole championship course layout, draped over rolling hills bordering the area’s world-famous farmland. Meadia Heights is hiring for Line Cooks. Primary Responsibilities include: Follows standards to ensure consistency in food taste and presentation. Prepares meats, seafood, vegetable, and other items required for the line. Carefully follows standard recipes when preparing all items. Responsible for assigned station setup, execution, breakdown and cleaning. Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions. Ensures that all restaurant staff are familiar with the key ingredients, preparation, and taste of all menu items. Works closely with the front of the house service team to ensure expedient ticket times, excellent food quality, and proper plate presentation. Incorporates safe work practices and safe food handling standards. Reliable transportation Must be able to work weekends and holidays Reports to scheduled shifts on time and communicates any absences/tardiness according to company policy. Demonstrate basic knife skills and safe handling techniques appropriate for volume food production. Accepts coaching and direction from leadership in a professional manner. Identifies any product quality issues and communicates concerns to chef/sous chef.
