About The Position

The Line Cook plays a vital role in the culinary operations of the club, preparing and presenting high-quality meals for members and guests in a timely and consistent manner. This position requires strong cooking skills, teamwork, and attention to detail, supporting a welcoming and upscale dining experience reflective of the standards of a private country club.

Requirements

Minimum of 1–2 years cooking experience in a professional kitchen.
Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and kitchen safety.
Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Country club, resort, or fine dining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation during and after service.
Execute food preparation for service including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, slicers, and mixers safely and properly.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food service.
Follow proper food handling and sanitation standards at all times.
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Support special events, member functions, and seasonal menus as required.
Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and club policies.
