About The Position

Line Cook Job Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, and team-oriented Line Cook for its rewarding team. Essential Functions: Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications Executes service and production of food products for all/any areas of the kitchen Recognize quality standards in fresh vegetables, fish, dairy, and meat products Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, and all storage areas Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Kitchen Manager Maintain assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition Handle food in a manner that is consistent with local health department guidelines Follow proper food handling techniques and coordinates the use of time, material and equipment to avoid waste and unnecessary expense Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene Comply with department’s dress code Follow safety regulations, reporting injuries or any unsafe conditions and work practices to the supervisor Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, mornings, evenings. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Well developed and multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detailed oriented. Ability to work in fast-paced environment and work well under pressure. Candidate must be dependable and reliable.
