This position is for a Line Cook within the University Hospital's Food Service Administration department at The Ohio State University. The role involves cooking and cold food production for patients and retail cafes, utilizing batch cooking techniques, and adhering to safe food handling and storage practices to ensure high-quality food. Some positions may require front-of-house service production directly in front of guests. Staff may also be involved in serving food, setting up and tearing down food service stations, and transporting supplies, food, dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities for cleaning and sanitation of equipment, carts, and the work area. The position is regular, scheduled for 40 hours, with varying shifts.
