About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Food Truck Line Cook to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for food and enjoys working in a high-energy environment. As a Food Truck Line Cook, you will be responsible for the precise preparation and assembly of dishes during service, ensuring consistency and quality. You will work closely with the Food Truck Cook and other team members to deliver excellent food and customer service.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED.
One (1) year previous experience as a line cook or food service role within a fast paced environment or related field.
Food Handler's Card
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for client meetings and events.
A satisfactory result obtained through a test for illegal drugs.
Acknowledge and agree to maintain a drug-free workplace.

Nice To Haves

Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Knowledge and experience working with Gila River Indian Community or other Native American Communities.

Responsibilities

Preparation and Cooking:
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
Cook and assemble menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring every dish meets our standards.
Line Service Efficiency:
Set up and stock the food truck line with necessary supplies before service.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace during service.
Work efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Customer Service:
Assist in taking customer orders and providing friendly service.
Address customer inquiries and special requests with a positive attitude.
Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and promptly.
Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and food truck facilities.
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses.
Event Assistance:
Assist in the setup and breakdown of the food truck for events, including loading and unloading supplies.
Adapt to varying event environments and manage time effectively to meet service demands.
Collaborate with the food truck team and event staff to ensure smooth operations and a successful event experience.
