Requirements

Two or more years of cooking preferred
Formal culinary training preferred
Ability to interpret and execute recipe while maintaining clean and safe work area
Strong food prep skills
SERV SAFE Certification preferred
Previous experience working in commercial kitchen preferred
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions required
Ability to build rapport and professionally communicate with team members and residents

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food.
Ensure food presentation is attractive.
Follow all guidelines and procedures when handling, preparing, serving and storing food.
Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of work area.
Promote culture of safety.
Maintain food inventory and supplies.
