About The Position
Il Forno Pizza is looking for qualified applicants to join our back of house crew. Experience working in a scratch pizza kitchen is preferred, but we're willing to train those who demonstrate the ability to listen and learn. Il Forno is an award winning wood-fired pizza restaurant with a focus on local produce and seasonal menu offerings. For 8 years we've grown along side our local community and have made a name for ourselves on a national scale. However, with that growth, we're gonna need some extra hands to join in on our team. Requirements
- Basic knife skills
- Be able to follow given directions as assigned
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency
- Minimum of one year experience in a professional kitchen
Nice To Haves
- Ability to stretch and ball pizza dough
Responsibilities
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
