Our Pizza Line Cooks are responsible for the daily preparation and execution of all food items on the pizza station, ensuring every pizza meets Spinato’s quality, consistency, and presentation standards. This role is essential to kitchen operations and plays a key part in delivering an outstanding guest experience. We’re looking for dependable, team-oriented individuals who take pride in their work, maintain strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Current Food Handler Certification required.
- Ability to lift up to or over 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in environments with exposure to heat, cold, and water.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and work shifts up to 12 hours.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and consistency.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining teamwork and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the pizza station according to restaurant guidelines.
- Prepare all pizza items accurately, safely, and efficiently.
- Restock all necessary ingredients and supplies throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
- Assist with cleaning and organizing the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas.
- Adhere to proper food handling and safety standards as required by the local Health Department.
- Support teammates and assist in other kitchen areas as needed to ensure smooth service.
- Prepare, assemble, and cook pizzas according to Spinato’s specifications.
- Read and prioritize tickets accurately to maintain proper flow during service.
- Coordinate with Expo and other kitchen stations to ensure timely order completion.
- Maintain consistency and quality during high-volume service periods.
