Requirements

  • Must be able to use and read precision measuring tools
  • Must be detail orientated individual
  • Self-driven
  • Ability to fabricate, design, layout and read blueprints
  • Previous experience in weld repair of machinery
  • Mechanical abilities are required
  • Line boring experience is required
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and be on feet most of the day
  • Individuals must have a positive attitude and like to work in a team environment
  • The position will primarily work on the heavy line of equipment
  • CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL
  • Ability to meet insurability standards to drive a company vehicle
  • Able to work weekends as required.
  • Must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Required - Line boring experience
  • Stick and Wire feed welding
  • Carbon Arc Cutting
  • All Oxy-Acetylene operations
  • Complete mechanical repairs as required
  • Fabrication, design, layout and blueprint reading
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers as needed
  • Complete service reports, timecards, parts orders
  • Proficient computer technology skills
  • Wash parts and components as required
  • Work within and promote the vision, mission and values of BMC
  • Perform other duties as assigned
