LIMS Software Engineer The Opportunity: As a LIMS developer, you can design a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment using an enterprise level LIMS platform. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods
- 3+ years of experience in software development with a commercial-off-the-shelf laboratory information management system
- Experience writing source code for new applications, including modules and forms, or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
- Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems
- Experience creating software solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team of testers, business analysts, and subject matter experts
- Public Trust
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or 20+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
Nice To Haves
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing software changes in a STARLIMS laboratory information management system
- Experience with system administration and maintenance, including creating new environments, installing patches and upgrades, maintaining application uptime, and troubleshooting errors
- Experience developing system integrations using REST APIs
- Ability to support automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
