About The Position

The Department of Mathematics invites applications for full-time Limited Term Faculty in Mathematics on the Gainesville campus for the Spring 2026 semester beginning in January 2026 and ending in May 2026. Please be advised that any offer of employment is contingent upon your eligibility to work in the United States. The university is aware of recent federal changes that may significantly increase the cost of filing H-1B visa petitions. As a public institution, the university¿s ability to cover such costs is subject to budgetary constraints and state funding policies. Requirements

• A master's degree in mathematics or closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential.

Responsibilities

• The faculty member will be expected to teach five classes per semester.
• Some evening teaching may be required.
• This is a full-time teaching position with no research or service expectations.
• The faculty member will be expected to teach at off-campus sites when needed.
• Teaching of core mathematics classes and Learning Support mathematics is expected.
