About The Position

At NorthBay Health the Limited License Rad Tech w orks under the supervision of the Urgent Care Manager with oversight by the Solano Diagnostics Imaging Manager. This position performs x-ray procedures, limited to the scope of certification, by applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis at technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Demonstrates the ability to meet the needs and provide service to all age groups-infancy through geriatrics. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Assists with clerical and other duties as assigned. Reports all equipment malfunctions. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use. Requirements

  • High school graduate preferred.
  • Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course.
  • California Limited License required
  • Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS Certification required.
  • Basic clerical and computer experience.
  • Demonstrates the True North values.   • Variable hours of work, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Expected to work every other weekend.
  • May be scheduled at any of the Urgent Care locations with radiology equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • One or more years of experience in general radiology preferred.
