About The Position

The function of the Lighting QC Technician is to efficiently test, maintain, and prepare lighting equipment adhering to Clearwing's leading industry standards, prior to it leaving the building and upon its return.

Requirements

• Four (4) years' working experience in the production entertainment industry or equivalent education preferred.
• Familiarity with Clearwing lighting inventory preferred.
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30 preferred
• Forklift Certification
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Thinks Critically: ability to organize, prioritize.
• Interacts Professionally: is tactful, positive, and an effective communicator (verbal and written).
• Good work ethic and must be prompt, reliable, self-motivated and passionate.
• Works well within timelines and with deadlines.
• Current knowledge of industry standards and technology.
• Experience in troubleshooting.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Lead the QC of department equipment to ensure all equipment is show ready.
• Identify missing parts and pieces in job lists and projects.
• Call and help pack trucks.
• Perform repairs and updates of clearwing equipment.
• Assist in preparing and patching racks.
• Use lighting test rig to prep, maintain, and quality control equipment.
• Prep of Shows and tours per paperwork.
• Recognize the need to clean equipment including cable, speakers, lights, hoists, etc.
• Assist other company departments as work demands.
