Requirements

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assembling various Fiber opti/Medical units.
Prepare tubing; assemble fiber bundles.
Works under instruction with drawings to assemble mechanical parts.
Grinds and polishes fiber optics assemblies with guidance.
Basic understand for the manufacturing documentation, EDS & FOD requirements.
Provide feedback regarding production issues.
Label and package products, make boxes.
Maintain appropriate levels of work supplies
Work with manufacturing and engineering to make suggestions for process improvement. Share personal experiences with others.
Measure dimensions related to prints.
Under Supervision set-up tests according to appropriate test procedures.
Coordinate efforts to make team schedules and quality goals.
Meets utilization targets and standard times.
Accurately enters Database/SAP transactions in the computer.
Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers.
Responsible for observing and following all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures.
