Warehouseperson.

Light Duty Warehouse Person fills orders of nonexpendable and expendable items
for shipment to all Casey’s store locations. Occasionally operates non-motorized
equipment, including pallet jacks, dollies and carts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Functional reading, writing and numerical skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Work is performed in a warehouse setting with fluctuating temperatures and in close proximity to other team members.
• Workdays are variable.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 55 pounds, as necessary.
• Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, standing, lifting, carrying and loading supplies and equipment for periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures and techniques utilized in handling and storing stock items is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examines and visually determines correct bay, shelf and slot numbers containing products to be repacked for shipment.
• Verifies visually and through pick system each order label for an accurate description and quantity of product ordered.
• Selects specified products from the correct pick slot, inspects for any damage and places items into tote container.
• Scans tote barcodes to ensure containers are labeled with the correct store numbers before being shipped.
• Examines tote containers prior to filling to ensure cleanliness per food safety plan, wiping with a clean cloth if there is minimal debris; otherwise, dirty totes are sent to the Tote wash area.
• Replenishes product in proper pick slots, either by pallet or by case.
• Complies with established Company safety procedures and all food safety regulations.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
• Shift is Monday thru Friday from 5am - 1:30p with overtime as needed.
