About The Position

Brumark Total Flooring Solutions is seeking a skilled Lift Truck Operator to join our team in Dalton, GA. The Lift Truck Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, including loading, unloading, and transporting flooring products within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Certification: Must have a valid forklift operator certification or be willing to obtain one.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and commitment to safety procedures.
• Work Environment: Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload flooring materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility.
• Conduct routine inspections of lift trucks and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist in inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
• Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures to prevent accidents and damage.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
