About The Position

Forklift Driver | Kalamazoo | HIRING IMMEDIATELY at our Manchester Road location Shifts: NIGHT, 5:20pm to 5:30am (12 hours), with 3 paid breaks Pay: Weekly pay, starting at $21.06/HR, plus the $1/HR night shift differential Schedule: Week 1: Monday(work), Tuesday (work), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Weekend (work) 48 hours Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (work), Thursday (work), Weekend (OFF) 36 hours Week 3: Monday(work), Tuesday (work), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Weekend (work) 48 hours Week 4: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (work), Thursday (work), Weekend (OFF) 36 hours and so on PLEASE be sure to list your current/two most recent positions on the application, particularly if you are unable to upload an up-to-date resume. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience
Basic math and computer skills
Forklift certification/license
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Pretest ability to lift 75 lbs
Must be able to: Climb approved ladders and moveable steps
Heed safety warnings, devices and alarms
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs. Occasional lifts up to 75 lbs. All lifts over 75 lbs require 2-person lift or mechanical assistance
Possess adequate ability to do problem solving and establish cause and effect relationships in an office and/or manufacturing environment
Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally and work closely and productively as part of a cross. functional team
Ability to create and/or exhibit an atmosphere of openness, honesty, trust, and teamwork.
Demonstrates ability to understand and actively participate in all company safety programs, policies, and procedures.
Demonstrates ability to safety load and unload materials to/from designated storage areas, racks and shelves, or vehicles
Ability to develop and maintain processes that are ISO compliant.
Can demonstrate ability to maintain work area in clean, safe order.
Ability to operate motorized equipment and other peripheral equipment safely and efficiently as required
Ability to feed and operate grinder without jamming or damaging grinder system
Can demonstrate ability to accurately count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled, using daily production sheet or work ticket
Can demonstrate proper techniques used to arrange materials/items in specified sequence for assembly and/or distribution
Demonstrates ability to accurately post data from one source to another in ERP or peripheral software systems
Demonstrates ability to be a self starter and work independently to complete assignments/responsibilities
Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize workload as required
