Tahoe Donner Association is looking for fun and personable Lift Operators to join our Downhill Ski Resort operations! The Lift Operator is responsible for operating chair lifts and maintains terminal area. This position performs crowd control, checks lift tickets and lift passes. This is an outside job working in a variety of winter weather elements. The Lift Operator oversees the daily operation of a chair lift in a safe and efficient manner while promoting positive guest relations with riders and co-workers. This position maintains the loading and unloading ramps, sets up signage, barrier fencing, ropes and maze lines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides excellent customer service to customers, employees and business partners. Does pre-operational checks on chair lift. Assists with cleaning and clearing of deck and lodge area. Maintains loading and unloading ramps, sets up signage, barrier fencing, ropes and maze lines. Performs daily safety inspections on the lifts and completes a daily lift log. Assists all guests with loading and unloading the aerial and surface lifts in extreme weather conditions. Assists with snow removal including shoveling and clearing snow from walkways, stairs, equipment and other areas as needed. We have seasonal opportunities available!
