The City of Steamboat Springs has a fun seasonal position at Howelsen Hill as a Lift Operator / Tubing Hill Attendant. This position starts at $21.97/hour and applicant must be available to work weekends. 2026 Pay Range: $21.97 - $26.70/hr. Placement within the range is dependent upon qualifications and experience. Seasonal employees are eligible for option 1: $1.50/hour end of season bonus based on total hours worked OR option 2: for those working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for a Steamboat Resort Merchant Pass paid for by the City of Steamboat Springs in lieu of option 1 (employees' choice). All employees of Howelsen Hill will be eligible to participate in the Real Deal, allowing employees to ski at most ski areas in CO. Supervision Received: Works under the general supervision of Supervisor, Foreman, and Lift Maintenance. Lift Operator / Tubing Hill Attendant is seasonal from December through March at 36-40 hours a week.
