About The Position
We are looking for a gospel-centered, results-driven, and detail-oriented CityWide Director to oversee support of existing LifeWise programs in Columbus and to foster development of additional programs. An ideal candidate is one with leadership experience and an operations background. Experience in fundraising, project management, and strategic planning in an urban environment is preferred.
Requirements
- A mature personal Christian faith consistent with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated abilities in fundraising, people management, and project management in an urban environment
- A strategic thinker, data-driven and analytical in approach to solving problems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in an organization using Salesforce/database and Google Workspace (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee support of existing LifeWise Columbus CityWide efforts
- Ensure programs are operated with excellence
- All city programs meet or exceed established benchmarks
- Recruit and manage/supervise staff members including administrative assistant, transportation specialist and Area Directors
- Evaluate the performance of the staff members regularly through monitoring goals and providing feedback
- Foster development of additional Columbus CityWide programs
- Foster positive relationships with school leaders and connect school leaders with Area Directors
- Establish and maintain Church Partnerships
- Cultivate and manage healthy relationships with strategic partners and community leaders in the city
- Manage the Columbus CityWide fund
- Prepare and maintain an annual budget
- Lead fundraising efforts to ensure adequate funding is in place
- Engage with donors and manage healthy donor relations
- Oversee use of funds
- Identify systems and processes in need of adjustment or creation in order to sustain and grow LifeWise efforts in the city
- Oversee the Columbus CityWide Regional Advisory Board
