About The Position

A desirable opportunity exists for an individual to join the Lifestyle department to assist and coordinate in the development and execution of programs, activities and special events promoting whole person wellness for residents. The Lifestyle Coordinator will anticipate and resolve scheduling or program conflicts proactively. Assist residents with scheduling activities through a resident app and assist with AV Equipment set up for events. You'll assist with the recruitment and coordination of outside volunteers, independent contractors and community resources and provide leadership for the department in the absence of the Lifestyle Director.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in the field of recreation or appropriate experience in assessing, designing and implementing social, educational, recreational and leisure activities for an active senior population is preferred.
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills along with proficiency in MS Office.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Nice To Haves

Associate Degree is preferred.
Proficency with technology, including AV equipment, resident apps and communication platforms is preferred.
In addition, the ability to take initiative, hold themselves accountable and take ownership of assigned responsibilities will help the candidate be successful in this role.
