Job Description As Lifesciences (LS) M arketing Manager, you will lead end to end integrated campaign for this industry. You will have responsibility for LS marketing budget , spend tracking, ROI measurement , campaign planning, overseeing global tactical execution and reporting. The role spans working within a matrix organization with responsibility for global and regional (NA, EMEA, AP and LA) program success . You will work closely with the Head of L S Marketing and Strategic Marketing Manager , and lead a matrixed campaign crew representing different marketing functions and regional marketing leads . Yo will be responsible for tracking and report ing on campaign targets monthly and quarterly to CMO and the Marketing Leadership Team. You will also work c losely with the LS focused sales teams (Global accounts and Regional teams) in the key LS sub- segments to ensure sales support of marketing plan, enable sales and capture sales feedback and measure key campaign performance metrics. You will work Hybrid in one of Rockwell Automation office locations and will report to Head of Global Industry Strategy and Marketing - Life Sciences

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • M ust be able to work hybrid from a Rockwell Automation office in USA.
  • Legal authorization to work in US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to travel for business within North America, Europe and Asia; ~25% travel .
  • The position requires a broad marketing skill set, and at least 5-7 years of marketing experience in Industry Marketing or Lifesciences End User/OEM Marketing Roles in target industries
  • Extensive experience in marketing to Lifesciences manufacturing, quality, IT/OT functions
  • Substantial knowledge and 5+ years of experience marketing in the LS m a nufacturing space , knowledge of manufacturing automation or digital technologies used within manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience and exceptional skills as a Marketing manage r running integrated campaigns with aligned Global and regional execution are a must . Specifically, we seek experience with execution of customer focused regional events, user group meetings, conferences, email campaigns, webinars, digital marketing , social media marketing .
  • Strong communicator, with mastery in English language communication to be successful as part of a global team. The ability to communicate with colleagues across region s is also a must .
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and maybe be evaluated during interview . Candidates are encouraged to provide past marketing campaign or writing examples . This individual should be able to write LS in dustry/ customer-specific and brand consistent marketing copy.
  • L eadership skills are as t his individual will need to lead a matrixed campaign crew through influence and without direct authority . T his individual should be able to serve as event master of ceremonies , organize and moderate customer sessions as needed .
  • Strong campa ig n m easurement skills to enable measurement of program KPIs, and reportin g on program goal attainment.
  • Strong Program management skills to stay organized, maintain timelines and ensure on time and on budget campaign execution in a matrixed environment.
  • Self-starter, and self-motivated to thrive and drive the LS integrated campaign and LS industry marketing to success. Identifying risks, putting together risk mitigation strategies, ensuring communication with stakeholders are all a must for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual marketing plan and budget requirements as part of the Global Industry Marketing COE team during our annual operational planning cycle. The y will ensur e a marketing plan that is c onsistent with business goals and growth targets for the region.
  • Collaborate with Global LS sales leaders to ensure a closed-loop of feedback and close ly coordinate campaigns. The s elected individual will ensure seamless communication and elevate challenges and priorities in a timely manner .
  • Collaborate with broader Global Marketing organization to execute integrated campaigns ; including Marcom, Events, Digital , Demand Generation , Social, PR and other teams. L ead a matrixed campaign crew comprising of these functions. The role will have responsibility for budget, spend tracking, and ROI measurement and will own the tracking of plan vs actual spend for LS campaign.
  • Ensure Global industry message alignment within regional focused campaigns and appropriate budget allocations
  • Interface with LS customers frequently , develop collaborations for webinars, conference presentations, articles and blogs. Learn of coming trends and translate these into future investment opportunities and marketing program strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a network of marketing vendors, industry associations and societ i es . Ensure thought leadership through oral presentations, blogs, and success stories to establish Rockwell’s market leadership in the industry . Evaluate ROI for membership and participation.
  • As a member of the Global Industry Marketing team, participate in global projects and contribute to Global strategic content creation, Automation Fair planning (Rockwell Automations’ annual customer conference) and other global ly oriented workstreams
  • Responsible for i ndustry proof points, campaign material, collateral for trade conferences and sales enablement support . Lead the planning of LS marketing program at Automation Fair, our biggest industry facing event. Specifically, LS booth, demos, partner demos, customer presentations and panels and manage enablement and booth staffing.
