About The Position

Euvori Aquatics is a lifeguard management service based in Scottsdale, Arizona, specializing in creating, implementing, and managing lifeguard programs for various swimming pool owners across the state, including resorts, country clubs, and homeowners associations. This specific position is for a Lifeguard at the Patagonia Regional Aquatics Center. Basic swimming ability is a requirement, but no prior lifeguard experience is needed as Euvori provides all necessary lifeguard training and certifications. The role involves actively monitoring the pool area to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests, enforcing pool rules and regulations, responding quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents, and providing excellent guest service. The company seeks individuals who are dependable, customer-service oriented, and safety-conscious. Shifts are typically 3-8 hours long, and part-time positions are available, with specific availability needed for Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:45 AM-1:45 PM, and Fridays from 9:45 AM-3:15 PM.

Requirements

  • Basic swimming ability
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
  • Availability to include Mondays and Wednesdays 9:45 AM-1:45 PM, Fridays 9:45 AM-3:15 PM

Responsibilities

  • Spend the majority of time scanning the water to search for signs of distress and drowning
  • Perform proactive interventions, which include notifying swimmers of pool rules and jumping in to assist struggling swimmers
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all pool guests by actively monitoring the pool area
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
  • Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may occur
  • Provide excellent guest service by answering questions and assisting with any concerns
