About The Position

Valle Vista Health System has been providing behavioral health services to the South Indianapolis area for more than 40-years. Located in Greenwood, IN, our 132-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness and chemical dependency. Website: https://www.vallevistahospital.com/ Position Description: The lifeguard is responsible for the safety, supervision and customer service of all persons using water pool facilities. He/she works under the supervision of the Recreational Therapy Coordinator and/or Nursing Supervisor. He or she must have current American Red Cross Training, First aid, and CPR certificates. Additional duties may be assigned. The lifeguard must have good communication & customer service skills and be able to interact with members of all hospital departments.

Requirements

Current American Red Cross Training Certificate
First Aid & CPR Training Certificates
Prior experience as lifeguard, preferred.
Must be 21 years of age
Must be willing to work flexible work hours, and be available to work as scheduled based upon the need of the department
Must wear appropriate staff swim wear
Employee may be asked to provide assistance and/or accommodations to include participants with disabilities.
