About The Position
Join our team as a Lifeguard at BOTTAIA Pool Bar & Café to make this summer unforgettable! About Us: BOTTAIA Winery blends wine country charm with resort-style relaxation. Our semi-Olympic pool, private cabines, splash pad, and lively Pool Bar & Café create an exclusive oasis. As a Lifeguard, you'll ensure safety, maintain a fun atmosphere, and keep guests worry-free as they soak up the sun. Summary: As a Lifeguard, you're the heart of the poolside experience. You’ll monitor the pool, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies—all while working 100% outdoors.
Requirements
- Lifeguard & First Aid (CPR & AED) certification preferred; training and certification provided at the company expense.
- Prior resort, pool, or swim instructor experience preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Energetic, positive, and proactive in ensuring safety.
- Comfortable working 100% outdoors.
- Available weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work the entirety of the season (May-October).
Nice To Haves
- Lifeguard & First Aid (CPR & AED) certification preferred

Responsibilities
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and set a fun, welcoming tone.
- Monitor the pool, enforce rules, and ensure guest safety.
- Respond quickly to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
- Educate guests on water safety for a smooth, enjoyable experience.
- Keep the pool area clean, organized, and inviting.
- Maintain and inspect safety equipment regularly.
- Communicate with management about any concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your Manager.
