This Job Description outlines the basic requirements, duties, and general responsibilities of the position of Lifeguard. Unless modified by a written Employment Agreement, this position is “at-will,” which means the Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District (“District”) may terminate the employment relationship at any time and for no reason, subject only to the requirements of federal and state law. Similarly, the employee may terminate the employment relationship without notice at any time for no reason. Job Summary: Lifeguards work under the direct supervision of the Aquatics and Community Supervisor, Aquatics and Community Coordinator and Staff Supervisor. Daily hours range from 5:30 am to 10:00 pm, with some hours earlier or later for special events or swim meets. Lifeguards are responsible for providing a safe and clean environment and an enjoyable experience for our guests. Lifeguards will also perform the duties of Guest Service- Aquatics when necessary.
