As a Lifeguard at the Green Bay Kroc Center you can choose to work morning, afternoon, evening or weekend shifts. The Aquatics Center is open 5:15 am – 8:30 pm. (Closed Sundays) We are hiring for current open positions as well as for Summer 2026! This position pays $15.84/hour. A shift differential of $1.00 per hour is paid for all shifts worked from 4:00 pm Friday through Sunday. Choose your preferred shifts: Morning Lifeguard: Oversee group fitness classes, splash play, and swim lessons. Afternoon/Evening Lifeguard: Be on deck during swim lessons, underwater hockey, and family swim times. Weekend Lifeguard: Supervise lively open swim sessions featuring splash play areas, water tipping buckets, and our popular indoor/outdoor water slide. Why join us? SUMMARY/PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Lifeguard will assist with the implementation of programs, special events, and swim lessons. The Lifeguard will also monitor activities, observe and provide assistance to swimmers, prevent accidents, protect life and enforce regulations. The Lifeguard will also ensure they are positioned in accordance with the State of Wisconsin approved aquatic staffing plan. Position is also required to assist with general facility maintenance and perform other maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned.
