About The Position

This is protective services work in directing the activities of lifeguards responsible for enforcing beach rules and regulations and protecting the safety of visitors to state swimming areas. Work includes arranging work schedules and instructing and training lifeguards. Work is performed under general supervision and in accordance with park rules and regulations. Requirements

  • At least seventeen (17) years of age
  • Successfully completed the Lifeguard Competency Test within the last year
  • Possession of current/valid Lifeguard Certification
  • Current/valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
  • Current/valid First Aid Certification
  • Completion of Lifeguard Academy
