Additionally, they engage over 25,000 volunteers and donors to support their communities. The Lifeguard II's primary role is to assist the Aquatic Director in supervising the pool area. This position is for an experienced YMCA aquatic staff employee who has a strong background in swim lesson and lifeguard programs and understands their operational functions. The Lifeguard II will support other aquatic staff by sharing knowledge of policies and procedures, acting in a supportive rather than a supervisory capacity. While on duty, the Lifeguard II is expected to maintain an exemplary demeanor and demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic attitude towards the YMCA.
