Being a Lifeguard, you have the opportunity to work outside, oversee one of our main attractions, all while making memories for our guests. The Lifeguard position maintains the pool area, enforces rules, and ensures safety for our guests. A requirement for this position is to have the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner and react accordingly with respect to local, state and federal laws. Being able to interact with guests in a positive and professional manner is crucial. Moreover, customer service is a high priority in creating success at Fremont RV Campground. Requirements

  • Lifeguard Certification (We will reimburse the cost of Lifeguard Certification Courses for new team members and those renewing Certifications.)
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of comfort working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willing and able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Training/Certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all activities in the pool area and monitor the facility for any issues.
  • Ensure that only authorized personnel and their guests use the pool area.
  • Enforce the pool rules as stated and posted in the pool area.
  • Report any violations to management and contact law enforcement if necessary.
  • Ensure that guardians always supervise children.
  • Arrange pool furniture and clean the pool area as needed.
  • Perform routine patrolling and chemical inspections.
  • Exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions.
  • Attending team meetings.
  • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
