About The Position

At Eight Sleep, Email and SMS are core revenue and retention channels. We’re looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to help execute and scale these programs with a strong balance of hands-on implementation and thoughtful project ownership. This role balances direct execution with project ownership and strategic support. You’ll spend much of your time building, launching, and QA’ing email and SMS campaigns and flows, while also partnering closely with Lifecycle leadership to support planning, prioritization, and ongoing optimization. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to stay close to execution while taking on more responsibility and ownership within a fast-growing lifecycle program.

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE: 2 to 4+ years of hands-on experience building email and SMS programs in Klaviyo
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing fundamentals including segmentation, personalization, and testing
  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and flows at once without missing details
  • Demonstrated testing mindset with experience supporting A/B tests, interpreting results, and applying learnings to future campaigns and flows
  • Comfortable owning execution while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners
  • Organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Klaviyo campaign and flow builds (required)
  • Email QA tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email
  • SMS execution and compliance best practices
  • Experience pulling performance data and supporting reporting (Looker a plus)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in DTC, subscription, or consumer hardware brands
  • Exposure to customer data platforms or advanced lifecycle tech stacks
  • Experience supporting international lifecycle programs

Responsibilities

  • Build and launch email and SMS campaigns and automated flows in Klaviyo
  • Implement segmentation, personalization, dynamic content, and A/B tests
  • QA emails across devices, browsers, and inboxes using tools like Litmus or Email on Acid
  • Support SMS execution and compliance across regions
  • Maintain deliverability best practices, list hygiene, and suppression logic
  • Ensure all sends meet CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other regional compliance requirements
  • Own execution timelines from brief to launch, flagging risks and dependencies early
  • Partner with Lifecycle leadership to translate strategy into clear implementation plans
  • Help prioritize incoming requests based on impact, effort, and timelines
  • Coordinate with creative, data, and engineering partners to keep projects on track
  • Support testing strategy and help operationalize learnings across campaigns and flows
  • Document workflows, QA standards, and best practices to improve team efficiency
