As a Manager within the Management Consulting, Life Sciences Industry practice, you will become a leader in one of the fastest growing and most entrepreneurial groups within RSM. Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional consulting experience or relevant industry experience
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex business problems through fact gathering, business process mapping and data analysis
  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, project management, and organization skills
  • Client service and relationship building skills
  • Must be a team player; demonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving skills; able to effectively work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50%+

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (biomedical, mechanical, computer, chemical, or industrial), Supply Chain, Economics or related field
  • Lean Six Sigma Green belt
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Consulting Presence and ability to communicate with persons in executive level roles
  • Project Management certification
  • Knowledge on Global Regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead consulting engagements for Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology clients, focusing on Gross-to-Net (GTN) revenue analytics, government pricing analytics, contract and channel valuation and analysis, compliance assessments, government program and pricing operational compliance, pricing methodology development and documentation, and Fair Market Value analysis.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on Gross-to-Net and Government Pricing, including go-to-market responsibilities for related services and offerings.
  • Lead cross-functional transformations and assessments to identify gaps in Managed Markets, Finance, and Medical Affairs functions against industry best practices, relevant statutory requirements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and implement market access and pricing strategies.
  • Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of price modeling related to various government price points (e.g., Average Manufacturer Price, Best Price, Unit Rebate Amount, Average Sales Price, non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price) and impact analyses for commercial, government, and distribution contracts.
  • Lead and assist clients in operationalizing compliant government and commercial programs, with a focus on pricing development, utilization management, and price reporting.
  • Advise clients on complying with price transparency reporting programs.
  • Utilize strong data analytics, financial modeling, and analysis skills to evaluate client financial data.
  • Manage teams through business requirements gathering, strategic contract modeling, use case development, quality and user acceptance testing, and training.
  • Communicate effectively both internally with the engagement team and externally with client employees and C-suite to maintain excellent client relationships
  • Lead efforts regarding business development, networking, proposals, and marketing content
  • Lead engagement economics such as proposal budgeting and pricing, margin management, billing, risk management, etc.
