About The Position
Kemper is one of the nation's leading specialized insurers, and we are looking for a dedicated Life Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in Houston, Texas. This full-time position is designed for individuals who are passionate about serving modest-income families and making a positive impact in their lives. As a Life Insurance Sales Agent, you will be responsible for conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing sales using our Customer Care Sales Model. You will have the opportunity to work with an existing book of business, allowing you to grow your client base through personal visits and premium collection. This role is not just about selling insurance; it’s about building meaningful relationships with clients and helping them protect their loved ones and assets. In this position, you will be assigned a specific territory, known as an agency, where you will manage an established book of in-force business. Your day-to-day activities will include continuously prospecting for new sales opportunities, collecting premiums from policyholders, and responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes and claims. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and accounting for the money collected. Our agents are expected to increase the agency size, build strong working relationships with customers, and commit to ongoing development of their knowledge and skills.
