About The Position

We are seeking a Full-Time Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team in a long-term/skilled care setting. This role is dedicated to bringing joy, purpose, and connection into residents' lives through various activities. Responsibilities include designing diverse monthly activity calendars, conducting resident assessments to tailor activities to individual interests and needs, and documenting participation to support care plans. The coordinator will collaborate with nursing and care teams to ensure activities meet physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs, and manage the budget for supplies and activity equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and a heart for serving others, aiming to create memorable moments and bring smiles to residents.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in senior living, activity planning, or a related role.
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to motivate residents.
  • A positive attitude and a heart for serving others
  • Completed the 36 hours Life Enrichment Coordinator course and/or have 2 years related experience.
  • Possess high personal integrity, a caring attitude and portray a positive image.

Responsibilities

  • Designing monthly calendars with diverse, person-quality life.
  • Conducting assessments of resident interests, abilities, and needs to tailor activities appropriately.
  • Tracking attendance and documenting participation to ensure goals are met and to support care plans.
  • Working with nursing and care teams to ensure activities meet physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Managing the budget for supplies and maintaining activity equipment.
