Our Mission To Enhance the Human Spirit Our Core Values Serve with Heart Serve with Purpose Serve with Courage Have Fun While Serving Position Summary: Life Enrichment Assistant / Bus Driver The Life Enrichment Assistant / Bus Driver supports the Life Enrichment Director in planning and leading activities that engage residents physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. You'll also play a key role in transporting residents safely to and from community events, appointments, and scenic outings — creating joyful experiences inside and outside the community.
Requirements
- Must be at least 25 years old with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive a 12-passenger bus safely and confidently
- Positive, energetic personality with excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
- Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work flexible hours — including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with seniors or in an assisted living environment preferred
- CDL license not required
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of daily activities and events
- Lead group and one-on-one resident activities, ensuring participation and enjoyment
- Provide safe, friendly transportation for residents on outings, appointments, and scenic drives
- Support setup and cleanup of activity areas and special events
- Engage residents in conversation and connection to promote emotional wellness
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Assist the Life Enrichment Director in maintaining activity calendars and attendance records
