Don't miss this great opportunity for a FULL TIME Life Enrichment & Activities Director to join our team at NHC Osage Beach Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center in beautiful Osage Beach, MO!! The ideal candidate would also have some knowledge of activity programming in long term care as your goal would be to provide daily meaningful activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents. Requirements

Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
A team player who is trustworthy, dependable and energetic
Committed in Enhancing The Quality of Life for our Patients & Partners
Available at least one weekend day per week
Comfortable using a computer, specifically Microsoft Word
Someone who is comfortable leading others and serving on our Department Head Leadership Team
Life Enrichment Director applicants must have a desire to work with seniors, be compassionate and creative
Strong communication and time management
Ability to be a team player and work with other departments to build staff morale
Basic typing and computer skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Publisher specifically for producing monthly calendars and newsletters along with other external and internal marketing material

Nice To Haves

The ideal candidate would also have some knowledge of activity programming in long term care as your goal would be to provide daily meaningful activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

Working with the Activities Assistant & Administrator to lead wellness activities for Long Term Care, Memory Care and Rehab patients as assigned (This will occasionally include some weekend and/or holiday hours)
Timely completion of associated paperwork
Coordinating celebrations, holidays and parties
Having fun at work and making sure others do too
Other duties as assigned
