About The Position

Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a Life Cycle Logistician to provide comprehensive logistics, sustainment. industrial base, and Supply-Chain Risk Management (SCRM) expertise in support of a Capability Portfolio Executive Office (CPE), Project Manager (PMs), and Product Offices. This role ensures that acquisition programs deliver fully supportable, affordable, and secure capabilities across the system life cycle. This role integrates sustainment, industrial base health, and SCRM considerations into program strategies, technical baselines and milestone decision to enhance Army readiness and reduce risk

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Experience supporting Army acquisition programs within a CPE environment
  • Knowledge of D o D a nd Army logi st i cs p o li c ies in c ludin g AR 700- 1 27 . AR 750 -1. DoDI 5000.91, and D o Dl 5200 .44
  • Familiarity with the 12 I ntegrat e d Product Su pp ort (IP S) eleme nt s and Product S upport Manager (PSM) re s pon s ibilities.
  • Experience with industrial base analysis, supply chain risk management or program protection.
  • Experience with Army logistics systems (GCSS-Army. LMP, AESIP, LIW, FEDLOG)
  • Strong understanding of sustainment planning, provisioning. and maintenance concepts
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Nice To Haves

  • DAWIA/DAU Life Cycle Logistics certifications (Level I-III or equivalent).
  • Experience with industrial base assessment, obsolescence management or SCRM tools.
  • Knowledge of Army tactical systems, mission command system, or enterprise software sustainment.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or SCRM-related credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Life Cycle Logistics Integration within the CPE
  • Serve as the l ogistics integrator for assigned PM/Product offices, ensuring align ment with CPE prioritie s and Army acquisition policy
  • Dev elop and maintain Life Cycle Sustainment Plan s (LCSPs) for ACAT I - IV program s, incorporating indu str ial base and SCRM co n s ideration s.
  • Provide l og i stics and s u s tainment input to milestone reviews, acquisition s trategies and CPE-level deci sion forum s.
  • Coordinate with CPE headquarters staff (engineering, business, cybersecurity, test, fielding) to ensure logistics equities are represented.
  • Industrial Base Analysis & S ustainment
  • Assess the health, capacity, and re s ilience of the indu str ial base supporting assigned s ys tem s, including prime contractors and critical s ub - tier supp lier s.
  • Identify risk s related to s ingle/ so le- source s upplier s, foreign dependencies, production bott l enec k s, and obsolescence.
  • Support development of industrial ba se mit i gat i on s trategie s, including alternate so urcing, t echnology refre s h , and l ong-term s ustainment planning.
  • Coordinate w ith Army Ma t eriel Command (AMC), OSW Indu s trial Ba s e teams , a nd s u s tainment command to e n s ur e industrial base r ead iness
  • Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM)
  • Conduct supp l y chain risk assessments in accordance with DoD I 5200. 44, Army SCRM policy , and C P E guidance.
  • Identify vulnerabilities related to counterfeit parts, cybersecurity threats, foreign ownership control influence (F OCI ) . and fragile suppliers.
  • Track and mitigate supply chain risk through coordinated actions with engineering. contracting, cybersecurity and program protection team
  • Support development of SCRM artifacts for milestone decisions, program protection plan, and sustainment documentation.
  • Monitor vendor performance. s upp ly chain disruption, and long-lead items to ensure readiness for production, fielding and sustainment.
  • Sustainment & Product Support Plannin g Industry Product Support Analysis (PSA)- and ensure alignment with the 12 Int egra ted Product S upp ort (IPS) elements.
  • Deve lop provisioning, supply support and maintenance planning artifacts, integrating industrial base and SCRM considerations.
  • Coordinate with AMC, CECOM, TACOM, depots and other sustainment organizations to ensure long-term supportability.
  • Support depot maintenance pl anning, repair s trategies a nd sus tainment transition activ ities.
  • Data Analysis & Reportin g
  • Maintain logistics metrics, re ad in ess data, industrial base assess ment s. and SCRM dashb oards for PM and CPE le aders h ip .
  • Prepare briefin gs, white paper s. and rep orts for mile sto n e reviews, CPE u pdates and se n io r leadership engageme nts.
  • Analyze s u s t a inment cost driv e r , su pp ly chain vulnerabilities , and indu s trial base constraints to recommen d improvements
