About The Position

Contractor Licensing Coordinator II is responsible for contractor license inquiries and renewals. The Contractor Licensing Coordinator II will coordinate bonds, certificates of insurance, officer/qualifier signatures, officer lists, financial statements and other necessary information for timely submitting inquiries and renewals. The Contractor Licensing Coordinator II will prepare experience verification forms, facilitate identification of qualifiers, and interface with outside parties such as licensing boards, and consultants. This role requires being able to read, understand, and interpret state statutes and jurisdictional requirements.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and license management software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Administer licensing renewals for all Zachry entities, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Manage and track renewal timelines for engineering, contractor, and specialty licenses across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Obtain and coordinate all required documentation—including financial statements, surety bonds, officer lists, certificates of insurance, and qualifier signatures—for new licenses and renewals.
  • Research and document state and jurisdictional licensing requirements for various scopes of work.
  • Prepare experience verification forms and support the identification and documentation of qualifiers.
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic licensing files using license management software.
  • Provide timely updates on license status to internal stakeholders and respond to internal and external requests for licensing documentation.
  • Interface with state licensing boards, consultants, and other external entities to coordinate licensing matters.
  • Interpret and apply state statutes and jurisdictional regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a time‑sensitive, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the licensing function.
