Where You’ll Work Bruceville Terrace has been providing quality, compassionate care since 1989. Licensed as the 171-bed sub-acute skilled nursing facility of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, Bruceville Terrace offers care for the elderly, as well as those requiring extended recoveries. Bruceville Terrace provides skilled nursing, rehabilitative and complex medical services to our patients and residents using an interdisciplinary team approach. Over half of the facility is dedicated to skilled nursing/convalescent care, while the remaining beds are committed to meet the medical and rehabilitative needs of the short-term patient after a stay at the acute care hospital. One California Job Summary and Responsibilities The incumbent provides skilled, technical nursing care or service to patients and residents according to a plan of care established by a Registered Nurse and in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility and as may be required by nursing management. Responsible for accurately and effectively completing all other duties as assigned. 100% of the incumbents time will be spent at Bruceville Terrace. As our Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide vital direct patient care, significantly contributing to patient well-being and recovery as an integral part of our compassionate healthcare team. Every day, you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and meticulously document care. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient experience. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient safety, and excellent communication. Your compassionate demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Requirements

• One (1) year of SNF/LTC care of the aged, acutely ill, chronically ill and patients in need of restorative care.
• Knowledge in the principles of nursing care within the LVN scope of practice.
• Ability to communicate proficiently both orally and in writing in the English language.
• Current Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• BLS certified by the American Heart Association.
