Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
About The Position
Touchmark at Emerald Lake is now hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse for our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods Full-Time 8-hour shifts Weekend Availability Is A Must What makes Touchmark different: No overnight on-call Generous Paid time off Health insurance is available when you work 30+ hours per week. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will: Must possess an LVN degree from an accredited school of nursing and current state license. Possess current CPR/AED and First Aid certification. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working with older adults in a health care setting; geriatric mental health a plus. Have computer knowledge and experience with healthcare charting systems. Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment. Must be physically able to traverse the expanse of the campus to give potential residents medications and treatments as necessary. Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident. Help oversee the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions. Be able to maintain patience and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.
Requirements
- Must possess an LVN degree from an accredited school of nursing and current state license.
