Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Current First Aid Training and Certifications.
A current nursing license issued by the State of California is required.
Minimum of six months in long term care, home care or related field.
Demonstrated competence in technical and manual skills according to the scope of practice for RN's/LVN's.
Working knowledge of computers and typing, sufficient enough to be successful with computerized Point of Care and other systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of aging process and implications of aging in a social setting.
Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members.
Completion of a background check, drug screen, physical, TB test, and fingerprint per state/local guidelines (Title 22).

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and effective care and treatments to our residents.
Work with a team of professionals to ensure the residents comprehensive needs are met.
Review routines, calendar of events and resident needs
Ensure medications and supplies are ordered, in stock and counted
Ensure all charting and record keeping is accurate and complete
Attend meetings, trainings
Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age, our Culture of Excellence, in all areas of responsibility.
Give a thorough report to oncoming shift.
Updates 24 hour report.
Calendars appropriately for upcoming needs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
