About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a full-time, permanent role in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting in Athens, Texas. This position offers a consistent night schedule, clinical autonomy, and long-term stability for nurses who prefer overnight care delivery.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Texas LVN license.
- Ability to work consistent overnight shifts.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings.
- Experience working independently during overnight hours.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide licensed nursing care to residents during overnight hours.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
- Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition.
- Respond to overnight clinical needs and emergent situations.
- Document care accurately and timely in the medical record.
- Supervise and support CNAs as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, clinical standards, and facility policies.
