The licensed staff provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse will provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operation of the unit. The 40-bed Selma MHRC’s innovative programs are based on Crestwood’s commitment to providing mental health clients with a continuum of care that puts them on the road to recovery. Requirements

Current licensure in California as a LVN or LPT.
Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
Ability to supervise.
Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
