We believe healthy pets make happy people, and we are committed to practicing medicine that is thorough, compassionate, and rooted in best practices. Our clinic is well equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, endoscopy, and ultrasound. Our clinic performs a range of routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry. Patients undergoing anesthesia receive pre-operative lab work, IV catheter placement, IV fluids, and attentive monitoring and recovery by our skilled surgical technicians to ensure safety and comfort throughout every procedure. Requirements

  • Licensed as a Veterinary Technician in NY
  • An Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology
  • Solid foundation in veterinary medicine and patient care
  • Calm, compassionate approach to handling pets
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift, carry, and safely handle animals of various sizes
  • Comfortable with medical records and hospital technology

Responsibilities

  • Assist in exams and surgical procedures
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Perform laboratory testing and imaging
  • Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
  • Provide high-quality nursing care
  • Coaching and training of team members
  • Educate and communicate with pet parents
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment
  • Assist practice manager with hospital inventory
  • Collaborate with the practice manager and medical director to establish training programs, leading the team with your knowledge and experience
  • Collaborate closely with doctors, teammates and practice manager
