The Veterinary Technician will play a crucial role in assisting with medical procedures, performing diagnostic tests, and providing support to pet owners.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals during their stay at the clinic or hospital.
- Provide education to pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and training techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
- Handle animals safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Participate in kennel management, including cleaning and sanitizing animal housing areas.
