Requirements

Licensure in New York State required
2+ years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician
Adaptability, being able to pivot effortlessly while demonstrating a positive attitude with clients and co-workers
Expert time management skills
Highly organized and acute attention to detail
Openness to feedback, coaching, and continuous learning

Nice To Haves

Anesthesia, Critical Care or ICU experience is a plus
Experience with practice management software (ezyVet is our in-house platform)

Responsibilities

Induce, maintain, and recover patients under anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures
Monitor and manage anesthetic depth, ventilators, IV fluids, and critical vitals in real-time
Maintain anesthesia equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth daily OR flow
Place and manage IV, arterial, and central lines with precision
Work closely with our anesthesiologist to develop and execute patient-specific anesthetic protocols
Contribute to a proactive, communicative OR culture where safety, teamwork, and efficiency go hand-in-hand
Support surgical prep and patient handoffs to and from the ICU and outpatient teams
